DARPA will host AI BTO Pitch Day on December 5-6, 2024, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel to select and award AI BTO catalyst projects. To be considered for AI BTO Pitch Day participation, offerors must submit a short white paper consisting of a technical description of the proposers idea in response to one of the focus areas.

DARPA will notify offerors by 11/1/2024 if they are selected for further evaluation via an in-person Pitch Day presentation to a panel of BTO program managers at the AI BTO Pitch Day event.

If selected for award at Pitch Day, DARPA may issue a Research Other Transactions award for one of three award scenarios - $100,000, $200,000, or $300,000. The maximum amount of government funding given to any single proposer will be $300,000.

For those selected to join DARPA for AI BTO Pitch Day, registration details will be sent directly to the email address provided in the submitted white paper. All registrations must be completed by 11/13/2024, 4pm EST.

All registrants who are not U.S. Citizens must complete and submit either a DARPA Form 60 (U.S. Permanent Resident and Foreign National Visit Request – e.g., industry or academia) or an Official Visit Request (foreign government personnel, only) through the Embassy based in Washington, DC, Form 60 submission instructions are provided on the website. Contact the appropriate Embassy staff for assistance in submitting the Official Visit Request.

Please register on SAM.gov as soon as possible. Registration at SAM.gov is required for any award that might be made by DARPA but is not a part of the event registration.
